Day Seven
Bay of Biscay to Galizia
Even though there is virtually no wind the difference in the water level is up to seven feet. The waves are very long and, since we are on a southern course, approach us from starboard. Riding those waves sideways leads to a consiberable banking of the ship and some dancing of those of use who are not used to it (ie., me).
Around noon the sun finally comes out. It also is now warm enough to sit outside with just a shirt on. Wasn't that bad an idea to go south after all. Well, we'll wait how the weather will turn out to be on the way back. So far, there has not actually been any weather at all. Knock on wood.
